The Good: There is a reason National Geographic named this bag of the year!
The Review: Briggs & Riley have hit a home-run with this bag. Weighing in at 3.1 lbs, this bag is not only light weight and good looking, it’s incredibly versatile. The BRX Exchange Duffel has a large top opening, allowing easy access and organized packing. The hidden backpack harness is easily revealed offering a vented, extremely comfortable solution for those trips where a single shoulder strap simply isn’t going to cut it (although the single strap is an option).
This bag has a slim vertical silhouette, allowing you to pass through narrow airplane and train aisles without taking out fellow passengers. With a good starting volume at 55 liters, you are able to easily pack for a week of casual touring. For those of us who are shoppers, the bag expands a whooping 20%, giving you an extra 10 liters. When not going great distances the BRX Exchange duffel also lends itself as the perfect weekend lake life bag.
